Reading/hearing it in digital talking bk format from http://www.loc.gov/nls BARD program. Congrats! You did what I wished I could have pulled off, a blog that could turn into a book. Mine was probably too microcast or narrowcast, about things a totally blind guy, me, late 30s, might find interesting, lot of book reviews, a real downer I understand as men don’t read, dumb me; and thoughts on some celebrities and other things. I think it could still be organized into thematic chapters covering the years 2004-2008–each entry has several paragraphs of text and about 5 minutes of audio but I lost control of the files because the company that handled the audio, ODEO, had problems and I am too stupid, despite my MLIS–Masters in Library and Information Science, to figure out the young tech stuff and save my stuff. And yes, Madonna, generating publicity, good/bad, is all she knows, coming up with new things, electronica, Jewish mysticism, what not, keeps it pumping. I’ll be glad to be happy in my 50s. My late 30s and early 40s SUCK bigtime–there that should date me rather well!! I just wanted to have a little niche market, maybe bring in say $1500 a month, double what I make now, and make a few people laugh, think even a little. Maybe meet some interesting people. I just tried a stupid e-matching site and after 2 hours of laboriously filling out the questions was told I am not matchable! Best to you. I hope the author actually sees this or someone does. I don’t know if I should give my email again–triviaguy@bellsouth.net but go head, email me, even if it is dating us, I don’t do IM, didn’t like the Tweet thing, and Facebook overwhelms me and I don’t really think I should find old classmates, teachers, employers, and college readers who read print books for me lest they want to know what Iam doing now–horrible question if you have some health issues and creativity flu.

I guess it’s because we were already all grown up in the 80’s and felt as if she was younger…in reality, she is younger, but only by 5 years. So yes, 50 she is.

It bothers me a lot more that William Shatner is in his 70’s! (I was a real Trekkie).

I turned 50, feeling like a 27-year-old and I am sure she will, too. It’s just the way it is these days.
